My dog has been jumping on the couch recently and I wanted to put it to a stop. So I decided with the help of an old smartphone, some sensors, wood, and an Arduino, I could at least try. I made a youtube video about it here. Enjoy!

IoT Robotic Pet Interaction Hub
This smart "Dog-Cam" allows you to watch your pet remotely and dispense a treat with a single tap on your smartphone.
- Alfred Integration Video Link: Uses the Alfred Cam app or a dedicated IP camera for the live video feed. This provides a low-latency, 1080p view of your pet via the cloud on any device.
- Servo-Driven Treat Carousel: The Arduino manages a high-torque servo motor connected to a custom-designed treat dispenser. When it receives a WiFi command, it rotates the carousel by 60 degrees, dropping a single treat.
Interior
- PIR-Triggered Notification: Includes a PIR motion sensor. If the dog enters the frame, the Arduino sends a "Your Dog is Active!" notification to the user's phone, suggesting it might be time for a treat.
