  • a power strip with 3 220v relays (to control lights and fan)
  • 2 thermometer sensors (air and water temperature)
  • PH analyser
  • IR receiver

Integrated Aquarium Life-Support System

Aquardino is an automated ecosystem manager that maintains the temperature, lighting, and feeding schedule of a freshwater or marine aquarium.

  • PID Temperature Control: Monitors the water via a waterproof DS18B20 sensor. The Arduino uses a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) algorithm to pulse the heater, ensuring the water stays within ±0.1°C of the target.
  • Dusk-to-Dawn Light Simulation: Gradually ramps the brightness of an RGB LED strip over 30 minutes to simulate a natural sunrise/sunset, reducing stress on sensitive fish.

Connectivity

  • Web Editor Dashboard: Configured via the Arduino Web Editor, allowing the user to remotely monitor the "Safe Zone" status of their tank from any internet-connected device.
