IoT Nutritional Management

This project creates a smart kitchen scale that logs nutritional data directly to a Google Sheet via the cloud.

  • Load Cell Interfacing: Uses an HX711 24-bit ADC module connected to a 1kg or 5kg load cell. The Arduino (using ESP8266/ESP32) calibrates the raw signal to provide gram-accurate measurements.
  • Google Apps Script Bridge: The Arduino sends an HTTPS POST request to a Google Apps Script endpoint. This script then appends the weight and a timestamp to a designated spreadsheet.

Interactive UI

  • OLED nutritional lookup: (Advanced version) User can select a food type via a button, and the Arduino displays the calculated calories for the weighed portion on a high-contrast screen.
