I decided to make this project because when I make any project with motors and use a motor driver, it consumes lot of energy and yields low performance. Due to this, sometimes projects won't work well. And so that is the reasoning behind this project.

High-Voltage AC Phase-Control Interface
A professional-grade technical guide for managing high-power AC devices (like motors or heaters) using an Arduino safely and efficiently.
Galvanic Isolation Safety Matrix: Uses an opto-isolated TRIAC (e.g., BTA16) to provide a 5,000V barrier between the Arduino's 5V logic and the 220V mains power. This prevents high-voltage spikes from destroying the controller.
Zero-Cross Pulse-Width modulation: The Arduino monitors the AC mains for the "Zero Crossing" point. The firmware then times the TRIAC firing pulse to occur at a specific phase angle, providing smooth, flicker-free speed or heat control.
Reliability
Verified with Arduino IDE: Coded with a robust interrupt-driven timing loop that ensures the AC phase stays perfectly synchronized with the 50/60Hz frequency.
