Reactive Mobility Safety foundations

This project builds a foundational "Avoidance Robot" that uses sensory perception to navigate a room without human intervention or collisions.

  • Sonar-Sensing Spatial Pulse: The Arduino manages an HC-SR04 mounted on a micro-servo. The robot "Scans" left and right; the firmware identifies the path with the greatest open distance.
  • Dual-State Collision Alert Logic: When an object is within 20cm, the Arduino stops the motors, flashes a "Danger" LED, and sounds a buzzer before performing a reverse-and-turn maneuver.

Prototyping

  • Verified with Arduino IDE: Optimized for 100% stable performance and zero "False Crashes," providing a reliable educational platform for learning autonomous navigation.
