Well my project is about making a smart automatic dustbin.I decided to make this project because it's awesome, easy to make and helpful for us, because it opens automatically when we keep a thing like trash/paper.the projects working: when we keep ultrasonic sensor in the dustbin with wholes inside dustbin for also fix a servo on the lid of the dustbin and a thread sticked with coin, the thread should fixed in the whole of servo's horn.So, when the ultrasonic senses the think it will give command to servo to turn 90 degrees, when servo is turned the coin will be puled and then the dustbin. this is how my project works.

Smart Sanitary Waste Hub

This project creates an expressive, "Friendly" automatic bin that uses distance sensing to automate waste disposal.

  • Object-Detection Mapping: Uses an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor mounted on the lid. When an object is detected within a 15cm "Trigger Zone," the Arduino initiates a 180-degree servo rotation to open the bin.
  • Visual Expression Matrix: Features an 8x8 LED Matrix that displays "Smiling Eyes" when the bin is open and a "Sleeping" expression when in standby, adding a fun personality to the hardware.

Maintenance

  • Bin-Full Alert: Includes an internal infrared sensor to monitor the waste level; when the bin reaches 90% capacity, the Arduino flashes a red alert LED and refuses to open the lid until emptied.
