Okay...this is a simple LDR and Servo interaction. Geta laser pen and "shoot" at the target. LDR activates a servo motor to drop your target down. 3 seconds later it goes up again for another shot.
The main issue is to set the correct threshold of the LDR sensor and avoid unwanted movements due to light conditions.

Precision Target Acquisition
This experimental robotics project uses computer vision and laser technology for autonomous pest management.
Image Processing Hub: Uses a Pixy2 camera or a Raspberry Pi to identify the specific color and movement patterns of a cockroach. Once matched, the target's (X, Y) coordinates are sent to the Arduino.
Laser Gimbal Actuation: The Arduino controls two high-speed servos (Pan and Tilt) to aim a 500mW - 1W laser at the target coordinates.
Safety & Power
Low-Duty Firing: The laser is only engaged for short bursts (200-500ms) to maximize burn efficiency while preventing overheating.
Safety Interlock: Includes an Ultrasonic sensor to ensure the room is unoccupied by humans or pets before arming the laser tracking system.
