Physical Shake Detection

Moving beyond simple button presses, this project uses motion sensors to create a realistic, tactile "Electronic Die" experience.

  • Vibration/Tilt Sensing: Uses an ADXL335 accelerometer or a simple SW-420 vibration sensor. The Arduino "Listens" for a physical shake or impact event. Once detected, it triggers the "Roll" animation.
  • True Random Seeding: To prevent repetitive rolls, the firmware seeds the random() function using the micro-fluctuations of the analog sensor data, ensuring the results are statistically unpredictable.

High-Visibility Output

  • 7-Segment rendering: The result is displayed on a large 1-digit 7-segment display. The code uses a "Spinning" animation (cycling the segments rapidly) before settling on the final rolled number to build suspense during the game.
