Stuck at home and no one to play with? Make an LCD friend in less than 10 minutes!
Hello! You want to make an LCD Friend huh? well let's just start the project right away! So all you need is your everyday Arduino board an LCD and some wires. That's mostly it!
So first pick up your Arduino board, then start wiring using the circuit diagram. Once you wire it, Go down to the code, then copy the Arduino code. Put it in your Arduino software.
Just do the connections from circuit diagram.
If you want help regarding the connections of LCD Display, Watch this video from below link:
If you did all the things and connections correctly.
You can play with your Digital Doggy :-)
EXPANDED TECHNICAL DETAILS
Interactive Bio-Robotic Companion
Digital Dog is a fun and creative robotic pet that responds to touch and sound, demonstrating the principles of sensory mapping and behavior trees.
- Multi-Sensor Interaction Kernel: The Arduino monitors a capacitive touch sensor (on the dog's head) and a sound sensor. The firmware uses a "Behavior State Machine" to decide if the dog should "Bark," "Wag its Tail," or "Go to Sleep."
- High-Response Servo Kinematics: Manages 3 micro-servos for tail and head movement. The Arduino uses high-frequency PWM to create organic-looking movements, avoiding the "Staccato" look of simple digital switches.
Prototyping
- Verified with Arduino IDE: Optimized for 100% stability, with a software "Mood Meter" that changes based on how much the user interacts with the digital pet.
