In this Project, we are going to use Flame Sensor with Arduino so that we can detect flame or fire. We will build Fire detection system to automatically turn on buzzer and switch on Sprinkler to extinguish fire.

Rapid Industrial Suppression

This project demonstrates a complete detect-and-suppress safety cycle, ideal for laboratory or server room protection.

  • Multi-Spectral Flame Detection: Uses a high-sensitivity infrared flame sensor and an MQ-2 smoke sensor. The Arduino monitors the analog voltage levels; when a spike is detected, it enters "Critial Alert" mode in less than 200ms.
  • Dual-Stage Suppression Logic: First, the Arduino triggers a 90dB piezo siren. If the flame persists for more than 5 seconds, it activates a 12V DC water pump/solenoid via a 10A relay to extinguish the fire.

Reliability

  • Latching Emergency Reset: Once triggered, the sprinkler remains active (or enters a specialized standby) until a physical reboot button is pressed, ensuring that the fire is completely out before the system resets.
