Precision Security Perimeter

This project creates an invisible "Trip-Wire" alarm system using a concentrated laser beam and a high-sensitivity light detector.

  • LDR Calibration Hub: The Arduino monitors an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) housed in a long tube to block ambient light. When the 5mW Laser beam is broken, the voltage change is detected by the Arduino's 10-bit ADC in less than 50ms.
  • Non-Latching/Latching Logic: Includes two firmware modes; "Entry Chime" (sounds once) and "Security Lock" (sounds until a physical reset button is pressed), making it suitable for both retail and residential security.

Hardware

  • Piezo Acoustic Pulse: Uses the tone() function to generate a distinctive multi-frequency siren (e.g., alternating between 800Hz and 1200Hz) to maximize the alert's visibility.
