This is simple matrix alarm clock. It can be used as casual home gadget. I design it as I don't find any existing project with simple schematic and software. I think this project will be very easy for replication and custom modification.

Minimalist High-Precision Timekeeping

O'Clock is an elegant digital timepiece that focuses on absolute accuracy and a clean, aesthetic physical design.

  • DS3231 ChronoDot Hub: Uses the highly accurate DS3231 I2C Real-Time Clock (RTC), which features an internal temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) to maintain time within seconds per year.
  • OLED Rendering: Time and date are rendered on a high-contrast I2C OLED display using the U8g2 or Adafruit_SSD1306 libraries for crisp, sharp typography.

Advanced Features

  • Automatic Daylight Savings: The firmware includes an algorithm to automatically shift the hour based on the calendar date, ensuring the user never has to manually reset the clock.
