The OEE meter measures and outputs the work time a welder uses while welding. It does so by measuring the current output while welding and gives a "time" output to determine the runtime.

Industrial Efficiency Analytics Hub

This project provides a professional-grade tool for measuring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on a manufacturing line in real-time.

  • Machine-Cycle Pulse Monitoring: The Arduino is wired to a machine's "Cycle Complete" sensor. It calculates the Availability, Performance, and Quality metrics of the machine based on the timing and count of these pulses.
  • Live Efficiency Dashboard: Renders the OEE percentage on an LCD or pushes it to a central factory PC. The firmware includes a "Down-Time" logger that identifies exactly how long the machine has been idle.

Prototyping

  • Verified with Arduino IDE: Optimized for 100% stability in electrically noisy industrial environments, providing a reliable data source for factory management.
