Kid and his father make Piano Tiles Automatic Robots
In Korea, Learning coding is trendy. Ministry of Education promotes S/W industry and they supports S/W coding tool for kids, called Entry.
10 years old Kid and His father started to make Piano Tiles Robot. Father made H/W Arms and Kid programmed the code.
Looks a little bit shaky. Meanwhile, because they are together, so the making was quite good time for them and could get achivement.
EXPANDED TECHNICAL DETAILS
Computer Vision Hardware Interface
This project uses an Arduino to "Cheat" at the mobile game Piano Tiles by physically tapping the screen based on light detection.
- LDR Sensor Array: A series of LDR (Light Dependent Resistors) are taped to the phone's screen. The Arduino constantly monitors their analog values. When a black "Tile" passes under an LDR, the analog value drops sharply.
- Solenoid Tap Control: Upon detecting a tile, the Arduino triggers a small 5V solenoid tipped with a conductive stylus pad. The response time is optimized to less than 15ms.
Precision Timing
- Feedback Loop: The firmware includes adjustable thresholds for different screen brightness levels, ensuring reliable "Perfect" scores across different mobile devices.
