Hello! My name is David. This is my first project. In this project, I made a railroad crossing lights with three LEDs: 2 red and 1 white and 1 switch. This project demonstrates how to define an Arduino pin.

EXPANDED TECHNICAL DETAILS

Safety Signal Simulation

This project recreates a miniature railroad crossing signal with realistic timing and logic.

  • Triggering System: Uses an IR Sensor or Reed Switch positioned on the tracks to detect the approach of a train.
  • Visuals & Audio: Two Large Red LEDs are flashed at a standard frequency (approx. 50-60 cycles per minute). A Buzzer or a specialized sound module plays the "Ding-Ding" warning bell.

Mechanical Control

Often includes a Servo Motor to lower the crossing barrier arm. The logic includes a delay timer ensuring the gate stays down until the "Train Left" sensor is triggered, mirroring real-world railway safety electronics.
