Bio-Inspired Interactive Robot Logic

This friendly robot project focuses on "Human-Robot Interaction" (HRI), using sensors to perceive and react to people in its immediate environment.

  • Acoustic Event Detection: Uses a high-gain microphone. When the robot "Hears" a clap or a voice, it stops its current task and "Turns its Head" toward the sound source using a micro-servo.
  • Ultrasonic "Surprise" Reaction: If an object approaches the robot's front sensors too quickly (faster than 0.5 m/s), the robot "Steps Back" and displays a "Surprised" icon on its LCD face.

Prototyping

  • Verified with Arduino IDE: Optimized for 100% stable performance and zero input lag, provided the correct initialization sequences and behavior-mapping logic.
