The Smart device is a device that enables you to check the Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity of your room and automatically turns on the Fan/AC connected to it when the temperature is above the value set and turns on the humidifier connected to it when the humidity is too much and the fan and humidifier goes off when the temperature and humidity values are normal.

Comprehensive IoT Environmental Hub

Developed for the #CloudGames2022 competition, this project transforms an Arduino into a professional-grade home health and security monitor.

  • Multi-Sensor Data Aggregation: The system integrates an MKR WiFi 1010 with several sensors over the I2C bus, including the SHT30 (temp/humidity) and MQ-135 (air quality). The Arduino pulls data every 30 seconds and processes it for transmission.
  • Cloud-Native Logic: Leverages the Arduino IoT Cloud to host a live dashboard. The "Thing" configuration automatically handles secure MQTT communication, allowing users to see their home's health from any web browser or the IoT Remote app.

Security Implementation

  • Presence Detection Alerts: Features an integrated PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor. If movement is detected while the system is in "Away Mode," a high-level cloud variable is triggered, sending an instant push notification to the user's smartphone.
