Hello!

This is an educational Arduino set I've prepared for my nieces to teach them about electronics. While I was at it - I decided to also make it Open Source and publish it on the internet for free!

All the files are available in English and Polish.

You need a 3D printer to print all the plastic elements.

Educational Robotics Foundation

Super Bot Gears is a modular, 3D-printable robotics kit designed to teach the fundamentals of mechanical gear systems and Arduino integration.

  • Parametric Gear Train: The kit features various 3D-printed gears (spur, bevel, and rack-and-pinion). The Arduino controls a high-torque DC motor or Continuous Rotation Servo, allowing students to experiment with mechanical advantage and gear ratios.
  • Sensory Slots: The chassis includes pre-defined mounting points for an Ultrasonic sensor and a Line Tracking sensor, allowing the mechanical assembly to be easily upgraded into an autonomous robot.

Curriculum Path

  • Coding Fundamentals: Includes starter sketches for basic movement, obstacle avoidance, and light-seeking, providing a gradual learning curve for students transition from simple "Spinning Gears" to "Thinking Robots."
