This is a fully automatic device that can deliver over 1 million volts when you go to shake someones hand. The IR sensor detects a change in the heat signature when you go to shake someones hand and then it turns on the relay which turns on a generator which delivers the voltage.

High-Voltage Pulse Generation

This project explores the physics of high-voltage discharge and safe electrical isolation for wearable security applications.

  • Voltage Transformation Hub: Uses a DC-to-DC high-voltage booster module (often capable of generating 100kV-400kV pulses from a 3.7V battery). The Arduino acts as the safety "Brain," managing the discharge timing to prevent continuous arcing.
  • Capacitive Discharge Logic: The firmware triggers a SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) to release stored energy from a capacitor bank through the glove's electrodes.

Safety & Isolation

  • Opto-Isolated Triggering: Highlights the importance of using an optocoupler to separate the sensitive Arduino logic from the high-voltage discharge path, ensuring the user is never at risk of accidental shock from the control circuit.
