This advanced IoT project allows you to control your home's lights and appliances by simply sending a text message over WhatsApp.
- Twilio Cloud-Messaging Bridge: Uses the Twilio API for WhatsApp as a secure liaison. When a WhatsApp message (e.g., "Dining Room ON") is received, Twilio sends an encrypted JSON packet to the Arduino's IP address.
- Message Parsing & Verification Kernel: The Arduino (WiFi enabled) parses the incoming text. The firmware includes a "Whitelisted Sender" check, ensuring only authorized family members can control the home devices.
Interaction
- Real-Time Status Confirmation: (Features) After executing a command, the Arduino sends a WhatsApp message back to the user: "Command Executed: Dining Room is now ON."
