การวัดระยะไกล

สถานีตรวจอากาศนี้ถูกออกแบบมาสำหรับการส่งข้อมูลในระยะทางไกล (สูงสุด 10 กม.) ซึ่ง WiFi และ Bluetooth ไม่สามารถทำได้

  • LoRa Modulation: ใช้ RFM95 หรือ SX1276 LoRa module ตัว Arduino จะทำการจัดแพ็กเก็ตข้อมูลจาก BME280 (อุณหภูมิ, ความชื้น, ความดัน) และส่งออกโดยใช้เทคโนโลยี chirp spread-spectrum ซึ่งทนทานต่อการรบกวนสูง
  • Point-to-Gateway: สถานีจะส่งชุดข้อมูลขนาดเล็กที่ใช้พลังงานต่ำทุกๆ 15 นาที ซึ่งจะถูกรับโดยโหนด "Master" ที่สามารถอัปโหลดข้อมูลไปยังอินเทอร์เน็ต หรือแสดงผลบน LCD ได้ในพื้นที่

ความทนทานภาคสนาม

  • เฟิร์มแวร์พลังงานต่ำ: เพื่อให้สามารถทำงานได้ด้วยพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์/แบตเตอรี่ ระบบจะใช้ไลบรารี LowPower เพื่อให้ Arduino เข้าสู่โหมด deep sleep โดยใช้กระแสไฟเพียงไม่กี่ micro-amps ระหว่างการส่งข้อมูล
